UAE Moon Mission
UAE become the Fourth country in the world to land on moon
Rashid Rover is the name of the Moon Lander
On December 11, 2022, Rashid Rover launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida, USA.
It was the beginning of a 385,000-kilometer trip to the moon.
Currently, the Rashid Rover is orbiting the Moon at a perilune height of roughly 100 kilometres.
The effort to land the Rashid Rover on the moon is only one element in a landmark week for the UAE's space initiatives.
Tokyo's ispace will make an attempt to touch down with its spacecraft on the Moon's surface.
The 2010-founded Japanese startup iSpace seeks to offer for-profit lunar travel.
